Google gets sole access to new satellite launched.

An interesting thread at WebmasterWorld caught my attention tonight. It deals with Go Daddy using a 302redirect instead of a 301 redirect. Difference? A 302 is technically 'temporarily moved' while a 301 is 'moved permanently.' Google is seeing parked domains forwarded with a 302 redirect by Go Daddy, resulting in duplicate content on separate domains. 

Check "don't collect my data," download, run. Smooth install. Have to shut down Firefox to import bookmarks, etc. Woulda been cool to have it import the tabs I have set to open when starting Firefox.

First thing I think about, notice, look for - extensions. That's one of the things that makes Firefox such a useful tool for me. There are a lot that if they went missing, I'd find myself spending more time doing things. (And I haven't even looked at Ubiquity yet...)

As you probably know, Google has added Google Suggest to their homepage. To honor a tradition started in 2004 and continued in 2006, Brady Forrest offers The Google Alphabet, 2008 Edition.  Basically, he notes each word that Google suggests when a letter of the alphabet is typed in.

Picked up a Google-safe way to redirect a no-longer existing page with a header 301 redirect in PHP today. GoogleGuy confirms that it's valid and won't cause problems with the Googlebots.
